Verizon’s Samsung ATIV Odyssey Allegedly Shipping on Jan. 24

Samsung ATIV Odyssey hands-on

We learned last week that Verizon has plans to sell the Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone 8 device, although the carrier didn’t reveal when or how much it will cost. Apparently we can expect the device to hit store shelves on Jan. 24, according to¬†Slashgear, although Verizon has yet to confirm the day.

The problem with sourcing a phone launch date is that they change so frequently, depending on the carrier. So while it might be in today’s plans to launch the phone on Jan. 24, Verizon could tweak the date entirely tomorrow. Heck, phones are even scrapped from time to time. Remember AT&T’s Skyrocket HD? Neither do we.

Check out our hands-on video for more information on the ATIV Odyssey.
