A Nokia community manger recently posted an update in the company’s forums noting owners of the Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 that a small software update is starting to roll out to the devices now. The over-the-air patch is being pushed out in a “phased manner over the coming weeks” and should hit every Lumia 820 and 920 by the middle of March. The update will include “performance enhancements,” although Nokia wasn’t specific on exactly what that includes.
I still use a Lumia 920 daily and haven’t had any issues with it, although other forum members seem to be running into trouble. “These devices are really gagging for the update,” one user said. “Let’s hope it solves many of the stability issues surrounding WP8.” We’re glad to see Nokia is on top of the issues, in any case.
