Deadpool Game Gets Five Great Screenshots

A word of warning before you dive into the trailer… Deadpool can be a bit of filthy character with a penchant for violence, so watch this one in a friendly place. This is the trailer that debuted the game at San Diego Comic Con last year. You’ll find the new screenshots at the base of this post.

Deadpool is being developed by High Moon Studios, a group that has already shown they can take cherished characters and properties to great levels with their previous efforts. These are the same developers responsible for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, a game that showed the world that the Transformers would work well as an interactive property.

These screenshots already show off a bit of the sarcasm and personality Deadpool fans have come to know and love over the years. This Marvel character is great with jokes and breaking the fourth wall, and that should hopefully translate well to the gaming space.

We’ll be keeping an eye on Deadpool as the game’s release date approaches. An exact timeframe has not been announced, but Activision is set to publish this one sometime this year for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
