AT&T’s Over-the-Air Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update for Samsung Galaxy S III Now Available

Samsung Galaxy S III software update

Samsung Galaxy S III owners on AT&T have had access to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for a while now, but it required use of Samsung’s Kies desktop software. I know plenty of people that didn’t want to bother finagling with the software installation and prefer to simply update their phones when an update notification is supplied on the phone.

The good news it that option is now available. AT&T is officially pushing an over-the-air update today, which means you don’t need to plug your phone into your computer. Simply head over to your settings menu, check for the update and install away. Let us know if you have any issues—this is an update you’ll want to jump on. Jelly Bean rules.
