AT&T Providing $100 Credit with Any Nexus 7 Contract Purchase

If you’re considering buying a Nexus 7 with wireless connectivity, you might want to weigh the pros and cons of buying the tablet with a 2-year contract from AT&T. As it has with other tablets, AT&T is now offering a $100 credit to your account if you buy the Nexus 7 with a new 2-year agreement. The specific wording from AT&T is as follows:

Through February 14, 2013, receive a $100 AT&T bill credit by signing a 2 year service agreement on qualified postpaid standalone or Mobile Share Plans.

Consumers can take advantage of the deal through an AT&T store or by calling AT&T directly, although there’s no mention of the deal through AT&T’s website specifically. As AndroidCentral points out, however, you’ll actually end up paying more for the tablet over the two year contract, unless you add the device to a Mobile Share plan that shares a bucket of data with your other connected gadgets.
