The Wall Street Journal suggests it’s a bigger problem, however, as Apple continues to fight Samsung, the world’s largest provider of mobile phones, and other makers that sell budget-friendly devices. It’s natural for demand to cool off, however, especially since the iPhone 5 has been available for several months now. Early adopters have already purchased the phone, and even those who waited a bit have probably already picked up the device. At some point sales are likely to plateau, and we think this is just a natural progression of demand.Demand for the iPhone 5 appears to be cooling; Apple recently decided to cut orders for new components parts from its Asian suppliers, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. Of course, this makes perfect sense because Apple likely boosted orders ahead of the holidays in order to make sure it had enough iPhone 5 units to meet demand for everyone who had the device on a holiday wish list.
