Samsung reportedly has a software fix for those users experiencing problems with their Galaxy S IIIs. A company spokesperson reportedly told a Dutch site that it was merely a firmware bug causing the issue and, even still, only a small number of users were affected.

It’s unclear when Samsung will roll out the fix, but we imagine it will happen sometime in the coming weeks. Reports originally suggested the issue was hardware related, but Samsung’s comments seem to contradict those claims. Hopefully the Samsung spokesperson wasn’t just blowing smoke, and the company will release something soon.
