Samsung’s ChatON application allows consumers with a Samsung ID to chat with one another, for free, across tablets, phones cameras and web browsers. The latest version, ChatON 2.0, is now available in more than 60 languages and in 200 countries around the globe.

“ChatON 2.0 makes sharing content simple and intuitive for both one-to-one and group conversations, where users can leave comments or other content in the Trunk —a virtual place to store, and comment on, photos and videos with friends before sharing them more widely on Facebook or other social networks,” Samsung explained recently. It also allows you to create a profile and view statistics related to your conversations with loved ones. It also now supports animated pictures, audio clips and new emoticons. You can also change the background or the bubble chat color.

Samsung ChatON 2.0 is available from the Samsung Apps application and is supported on all new Samsung mobile devices.
