Nokia Juggernaut Windows Phone Prototype Leaks

by Todd Haselton | December 14, 2012

I’m stumped by the image above; is it a new Windows Phone 8 phablet prototype or an older model running Windows Phone 8?

Our guess is the latter. It looks strikingly similar to a massive Lumia 810 but with the Windows Phone 7/7.5 logo on the bottom. The device is clearly labeled as a Nokia prototype, and the settings screen says its internal name is the “Juggernaut Semaphore.” It apparently packs a Snapdragon S4 processor, which is used in the latest Windows Phone 8 devices, and a relatively low 800 x 480-pixel resolution display.

A Windows Phone 8 phablet from Nokia? Color me interested, although I don’t see it happening anytime soon…at least, not with such a low screen resolution.
