Anyone with an iPad can watch new, full episodes of shows such as American Pickers and Storage Wars for free. If you’re on the cusp of cutting the cord or if you enjoy watching content on your iPad before bed, this is a nice little holiday gift for tablet owners.

Apps for the History Channel, A&E and Lifetime are available now in the App Store. You can catch all of the latest episodes from each channel, as well as some from previous seasons regardless of a cable subscription. However, Comcast Xfinity TV subscribers do get a little more content, according to CNET, with access to all past episodes instead of just a few of them.

It sounds like A&E put a bit of thought into the apps as well; there’s a feature called “Watchlists” that allows users to queue episodes up. Apps for Android, iPhone and the iPod touch are being planned for early next year.
