Facebook’s Year In Review Shows People Their 20 Biggest Moments of 2012

Facebook is letting people look at their own personal year in review by providing a reflective time capsule that sums up a person’s 20 biggest moments of 2012. For some, that means getting married, having a child or starting a new job. For me, there’s not much—I rarely do anything on Facebook, if at all.

The whole point of the year roundup is to show what happened, the significant moments over 12 months. But it’s only an interesting and rewarding look if you’re a heavy Facebook user. If you are, great. If not, like me, the review will look incomplete, like I’ve done barely anything at all. Maybe I haven’t.

Everything is presented in Facebook’s familiar Timeline layout, with a grid of pictures up top and the more important moments unfolded below. To see your own personal year in review, just go to your profile and there should be a small box sitting next to the status update box, or head to
