It seems to me that, with enough force, anything can break. Nonetheless, Samsung is reportedly planning to include a new display technology on its Galaxy S IV flagship Android handset that will be marketed as “unbreakable.” We’re already expecting the 4.99-inch screen to be pretty incredible, with a 441 pixel-per-inch density and AMOLED technology, but this makes the device even more desirable.
“Looking to the first half of 2013, we see evidence of Samsung likely accelerating the release of the Galaxy S IV — compared with May (this year) for the Galaxy S III,” UBS analyst Nicolas Gaudois said in a report obtained by Reuters. “We believe preparations for volume manufacturing of unbreakable plastic substrate displays continue. All in all, we could see a strong products push in the high-end in the first half, followed by other releases.” Gorilla Glass 2 is currently among the strongest display technologies available on the market.
