Nokia officially unveiled the Lumia 620 on Wednesday, the company’s newest Windows Phone 8 smartphone. The device is clearly aimed at the entry-level market — it’s equipped with a 3.8-inch ClearBlack display with an 800 x 480-pixel resolution, 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, a VGA front-facing camera for video chat, a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microUSB).

The device will cost just $249 before taxes, TechCrunch said, and is expected to ship in January. Nokia’s target markets for the phone include the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region, although it has plans to launch the Lumia 620 in Canada and Europe later, too.
