Gmail 2.0 for iPhone and iPad Now Available

Google just announced that Gmail 2.0 is now available for the iPhone and the iPad. Thank goodness, because the old client was terrible. Google said the update includes several enhancements including a totally revamped user interfaces and support for profile pictures in messages, animals and transitions, autocomplete search, the ability to RSVP to calendar invites and even an option for commenting on Google+ posts. But the best feature is…

Support for multiple accounts! Finally! Now I’ll be able to have both my work account and my personal account all inside one application, complete with support for calendars on each account. The application is available from the iTunes app store now, but I’m trouble downloading it because it says it’s no longer available. Gmail said it’s still rolling out and should be available to all shortly.
