It’s hard being a queen of the geeks. No, I’m not talking about me, but Marissa Mayer, the well-known Yahoo CEO who jumped the Google ship last July. Not only did she leave Mountain View campus (in a very well-publicized exit, I might add), but she has also taken on the primary responsibility for resuscitating the faltering Yahoo empire. And that puts her every move under the microscope.

This kind of demanding career is not for the weak-willed, but it takes real nerves of steel to handle this high profile role while also managing the biggest personal life change too: She just became a new mother to baby Macallister a few months ago.

And yet, she still she had time to attend Fortune’s Most Powerful Women event in Palo Alto, CA. (Mad respect, lady). In this 30-minute video, she was interviewed for the first time since joining Yahoo, speaking about family, iPhones and fantasy football, as well as her mobile and business initiatives for the company and the rejuvenation of its workforce.
