Apple Customers Begin Receiving iPad Mini with 4G LTE

Customers are finally beginning to receive iPad mini units with 4G LTE connectivity. Apple was a bit mum on when the devices would ship and only originally said that they would be delivered in November. However, earlier this month we heard they would begin arriving ahead of Thanksgiving.

Now, 9to5Mac┬ásays several of its readers have mailed in to alert them that their iPad mini units are now being delivered. The site said it has learned Apple has enough stock – despite a recent robbery at JFK where $1.5M worth of tablets were stolen – to start selling the tablet in Apple Store locations tomorrow.

However, Apple still needs to grant final approval to its staff before sales can begin, and it’s still unclear when that will happen exactly.
