Verizon Wireless has updated an earlier blog post stating that it will officially offer the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the Nokia Lumia 822 beginning tomorrow, November 15. The phones will retail for $199 and $99, respectively, with a new two-year contract. Verizon said that two exclusive colors, including the red Windows Phone 8X and the grey Lumia 822 will only be available for purchase online. That seems odd, since the red 8X would definitely stand out on store shelves.
Verizon has confirmed that it will offer the Samsung ATIV Odyssey by the end of the year, and a company executive recently confirmed that it will also provide a Windows Phone 8 device for free with contract. We’re guessing that will be the Odyssey, but only time will tell.
