iPhone 5 Shipment Availability Falls Between Two and Three Weeks

Apple_iPhone_5_BoxThe slow improvement of iPhone 5 manufacturing has dropped shipment times down to between two and three weeks online. That’s the kind of news Apple would’ve wanted to hear going into this and next month’s holiday craze.

It’s been a mighty struggle keeping up with demand, made even more difficult for supply chains because of the iPhone 5’s susceptibility to scuffs and scratches. But what once took up to a month is now down to just a few weeks — at least that’s how it’s playing out online. Going into an Apple store might be a completely different story.

Analysts are still predicting that Apple’s latest handset will do very well among consumers around the world, and maybe hit an astounding 46.5 million units shipped in the December quarter alone. We’ve certainly enjoyed our time with the device; and it seems manufacturing is beginning to smooth out just in time.
