Many of the rumors are pegging the phone at a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080×1920, powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdradon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM to back it up. It’s expected to ship with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1, no word on 4.2 as of yet) and an 8-megapixel rear camera. After eons of speculation, rumors and leaks, Verizon has officially outed the DROID DNA ahead of its event in New York City on Tuesday morning. We’ll be in attendance at the briefing, so it’s nice to have some idea of what we can look forward to covering.Verizon has decided to go ahead and make the DROID DNA official with a statement on its site. There will also be a Google+ Hangout on Monday, Nov. 19 for an unboxing of the device.

The DROID family just keeps growing, and the DROID DNA looks to have the specs to be a welcome addition to the family.
