Original Galaxy Note to Get Air View, Multi-Window Features in Jelly Bean Upgrade

Samsung Galaxy Note with Stylus

Following the launch of the Galaxy Note II, Samsung is expected to update its original Galaxy Note to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the near future. And when it does, there could be plenty of surprises in store for owners of the 5.3-inch “phablet.”

In addition to Google Now and the other improvements Jelly Bean brings, the Galaxy Note is expected to get the Nature UX, the ability to watch video previews using the S Pen with a feature called Air View, and the option to use two apps at the same time with a feature called Multi-Window.

While Samsung is yet to confirm these features will be gracing the Galaxy Note, the leaked video below — which is purported to show Android 4.1.2 running on the device — demonstrates them all.

Unfortunately, the presence of this video doesn’t confirm anything yet. There’s a chance, of course, that the features you see won’t make it into Samsung’s final public build. However, it does give Galaxy Note users some idea of what Samsung is working on for their device.

Are you looking forward to the Android 4.1.2 update for your Galaxy Note?
