Apple Issues New Samsung Apology on its U.K. Website

apple-samsung-statementApple’s recent letter to Samsung, which was required by a U.K. judge after the Korean company was found not to have infringed the iPad, turned out to be less of an apology, and more of a back-handed attack. That, according to the original court order, was not at all acceptable. So Apple has finally issued a much more compliant apology. Let’s hope this is the end of it.

You can find Apple’s new worded statement on its U.K. website with a full explanation of the situation, including a bit of background on the original judgement. Both Apple and Samsung have been embroiled in worldwide lawsuits with one another — the most important ruling concluded in Apple’s favor a few months ago. But with each moving off in different directions, hopefully we’ll see the end of this kind of bickering with the year coming to a close. Or at least become much less prevalent.
