Xbox 360 and PC gamers who still have yet to play the finest new franchise from the last decade will have an affordable chance to do so this week. The Mass Effect Trilogy box-set is being launched on November 6th as announced earlier this fall.

PlayStation 3 fans were left in the dust, however, with the promise of a release but no date set in stone. Not to worry; BioWare has followed up and just announced that the Mass Effect Trilogy box-set will be released for the PlayStation 3 on December 4th.

The entire trilogy will run for the single-game price of $59.99, and it will mark the first time the original Mass Effect will be available on the PlayStation 3. It will also be available separately as a PSN downloadable game.

Seriously, of all the HD Collections and bundles that are becoming more and more available every day, this is the one to drop your money on. Mass Effect is the epitome of what modern gaming has achieved and the cornerstone of where it should be headed.
