AT&T on Thursday officially announced and launched its new free cloud storage solution called AT&T Locker. The carrier initially launched the service for Android back in September, but it’s now available for iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It’s capable of storing documents, photos, videos music and you can quickly share any of them to social sites or via email, AT&T said. You’re given 5GB of storage from the get-go, which is plenty, but AT&T is also offering 30GB for $3.99 per month or 100GB for just $9.99 per month.

“Customers use smartphones to capture special moments in their lives,” AT&T senior vice president of data and voice products Mark Collins said. “That’s why we designed AT&T Locker to help you store those memories. With Easy Upload, every photo and video is uploaded directly to AT&T’s cloud, which can be accessed safely and securely anytime from a customer’s smartphone or the Web.”

The iOS application is free and is available from iTunes now.
