Okami HD Hits PSN Today

Assassin’s Creed III isn’t the only game coming out today, but the others are sure to get buried under all the assassins and their creeds. So make sure not to miss Okami HD, hitting PSN today.

Released originally for the PlayStation 2 in 2006, Okami was a critically acclaimed title; but, like so many of the classics, it didn’t sell nearly what it deserved. Now set to sell at $19.99 and unhindered by the limitations of store shelves, Okami has new life.

On Sony’s PlayStation Blog, marketing manager Tristan Corbett outlined what has been added to the game for its re-release. In addition to full, native 1080p graphics—the release it really deserved in the first place, even if technology wasn’t quite there yet—Sony has added Move support and trophies as well.

Okami will be available once the PSN store updates later today. Don’t miss this chance to play an often-overlooked classic the way it was meant to be played.
