4th Generation iPad Already Out of Stock, Now Shipping in a Week

The fourth generation iPad is now out of stock and new orders will now ship in a week, instead of by this Friday when the tablet officially launches. The supply was either in less demand, or in greater supply, than the iPad mini, which is now shipping in 2 weeks.

Apple surprised plenty of pundits when it announced the fourth generation iPad, which packs a dual-core A6X processor and a quad-core graphics engine that are supposed to provide two-times the performance of the earlier third generation iPad.

A test today, however, shows that the fourth generation iPad is the most powerful iOS device yet – it out performs the iPhone 5 and offers more than twice the performance of the last generation iPad. Talk about speedy! Are you planning to buy one?
