Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore took the stage during a Windows Phone 8 keynote today and announced that Pandora for Windows Phone 8 will be available in early 2013. The best part? Microsoft will offer a year of free Pandora service, without ads, for anyone who downloads it. That’s a pretty compelling offer.

Microsoft will also offer several other new apps including Temple Run, Words with Friends, Urban Spoon, redesigned Twitter and Facebook apps, and a completely new Skype application that will run in the background at all times.
