Tim Cook: 300 Billion iMessages Served, 70 Million Photo Streams Shared

Tim Cook took the stage during Apple’s iPad mini press event today and gave a few stats about the company’s products.

Cook said that iMessage, the messaging application used between Apple’s devices, has already been used to serve 300 billion messages. That’s equivalent to 28,000 messages per second. He also said that iOS 6’s Photo Stream application has helped consumers share 70 million photo streams.
