Apple Unveils iPad Mini, Launching Nov. 2 for $329

The day has finally arrived. Apple just announced the iPad mini. The device packs an A5 processor, a 720p FaceTime camera, 10 hours of battery life, a 5-megapixel camera, a FaceTime HD front-facing camera for video chat, 4G LTE, 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi and a Lightning port connector. It’s also just 7.22mm thick and sport s a 7.9-inch display with a 1024 x 768 resolution.

The 16GB model will start out at just $329, the 32GB option will cost $429 and a 64GB model is $529. If you want 4G LTE support, you can expect to pay $459, $559 and $659 for those models, respectively. The iPad mini will be available Nov. 2, but anyone who is interested can pre-order it this Friday.
