35 Billion iOS Apps Have Been Downloaded So Far

At Apple’s press event today, Tim Cook shared a few stats with the audience, proudly revealing that 35 billion apps have been downloaded thus far. This is out of 700,000 iOS apps, 275,000 of which are iPad-specific.

The app marketplace is one of the main selling points of the platform, so there’s little wonder why the CEO would want to highlight that point.
