The 27-inch iMac has gone nearly double the normal length of time between refreshes, so it is definitely about time that Apple’s popular all-in-one desktop received some love. The question remains, however, was the wait worth it? Sure seems like it!

The new 27-inch iMac is thinner than ever before and starts at $1,799. It packs, at the base level, a 2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M graphics.
