MetroPCS Galaxy S III Supports Google Wallet for Mobile Payments

Google announced Monday afternoon that it has partnered with MetroPCS to provide mobile payment solutions through Google Wallet. Google said the application, which allows you to walk into certain retailers and use a tap-to-pay method to make purchases, works with the Galaxy S III. The carrier began offering Samsung’s flagship smartphone today, off contract, for $499.99. You can download Google Wallet for free and use it with major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover, from Google Play for free.
