And for the LG Nexus 4’s Next Trick, Removing its Back Plate

lg-nexus-4-without-back-coverThe LG Nexus 4’s non-removable back… wait for it… has been removed. One intrepid user in possession of the device decided to unscrew its back panel for the sole purpose of looking inside. And, well, there’s not much.

The image above shows mostly just plastic framing, gold antennae contacts and cutouts for speakers. It at least confirms the device will come equipped with a 2,100mAh battery, which we already knew about. Otherwise, behold the Nexus 4 without a black plate. Fancy, right? Indeed.

It’ll be awkward pretending we haven’t seen the Nexus 4 in the nude when it’s finally (probably) unveiled during Google’s Oct. 29 event.
