Verizon’s Lumia 822 Will Allegedly Retail for Just $49.99

nokia-lumia-822-verizonVerizon’s upcoming Lumia 822 will reportedly look and feel uniquely different from the 820 and 810. That’s no surprise really — every wireless company will want to differentiate their iteration. But according to WMPoweruser, the 822 will allegedly ditch the ability to swap backplates, meaning you better choose your color wisely.

There’s not much else known about the device; it apparently feels plasticky, and sports a taller and wider design. “It seems despite the mere 2 increment, the device is actually very different than the Nokia Lumia 820,” WMPoweruser said. Additionally, the device may retail for only $49.99, which is a pretty amazing bargain price to jump into the Windows Phone 8 ecosystem. Hopefully we’ll learn more about the 822 soon.
