Verizon DROID RAZR HD, RAZR MAXX HD Launching Oct. 18

Verizon Wireless just announced that it will begin offering the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD on Oct. 18 for $199.99 and $299.99, respectively, with a new two-year contract. The phones are both equipped with 4.7-inch displays, NFC, 8-megapixel cameras, 1.5GHz dual-core processors, 4G LTE support and more. They also feature a water-repellant nano-coating that prevents against light spills. The devices are identical for the most part but the DROID RAZR MAXX HD features a battery that’s rated for up to 32 hours of use and features 32GB of storage instead of just 16GB. We’re not so sure we’d drop $100 for a larger battery and expandable storage (a 16GB microSD card is pretty cheap), but if you need your smartphone to last more than a day then the RAZR MAXX HD is your best bet.
