We’re used to seeing “tell-all” books target the likes of entertainers, athletes and politicians. This one, however, is a little different. This one sets its sights, not on Hollywood, but a bit north — like on Cupertino, California.
Now, a year after Apple co-founder Steve Jobs’ passing, word has hit that a new book is in the works by Chrisann Brennan, his old high school girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Lisa. (Initially he refused to acknowledge his daughter. Meanwhile, she and her mother scraped by living on welfare. He did, however, eventually come around and connect with Lisa, even inviting her to live with him and wife Laurene Powell.)
Brennan’s memoir will cover the young couple’s courtship, relationship and birth of their child, plus other insights into the legendary tech exec’s psyche — including his early vision and charismatic personality, not to mention his ambition/drive and ruthlessness in business and personal matters.
No info on release date or distribution yet, but if you’re interested in knowing more about the personal life and motivations of Steve Jobs, the book is expected to land on shelves sometime next year, so stay tuned.
