Samsung Announces Android-Powered Galaxy Music Smartphone

Samsung Galaxy Music large

Samsung has added another new smartphone to its Android lineup this morning. The Galaxy Music is a device that promises to offer “superb sound quality and superb music player features,” with a dedicated button for one-touch access to your tracks.

The Galaxy Music boasts a 3-inch QVGA (240 x 320) TFT display, and a “powerful processor that guarantees smooth and fast performance,” Samsung says. It has front-facing speakers, an FM radio, and advanced audio features like Sound Alive and SRS technology.

You can also expect a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera (without flash), GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, 4GB of internal storage, and 512MB of RAM. The Galaxy Music is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface over the top.

According to Samsung’s press release (below), the Galaxy Music also features a built-in WVGA projector. However, we can’t see where that projector is on the press images of the device. It could be that Samsung has listed this feature accidentally; we’ll update you once we know for certain.

What do you think to the Galaxy Music?
