Hulu announced today that it has extended its partnership with Viacom to immediately start streaming content from the Nickelodeon network.
Under this new deal with Viacom, Hulu – and its Hulu Plus premium service – will air the last five episodes of shows from the network, with the first airing happening 21 days after it airs originally on the cable channel. This arrangement will cover everything from the animated shows to the teen shows such as Big Time Rush.
Additionally, Hulu Plus will be expanding its Latino selection with programming from Viacom’s Tr3s network.
If Hulu isn’t careful, it’s going to turn into an actual cable provider in the not too distant future.
