MobileMe-is-closed-move-to-icloudApple’s iCloud gratuity shown to former MobileMe users was all set to end last month. Bummer. But it turns out the Cupertino company has decided against that move, and generously extended the bump in storage for another additional year. Apple has sent out emails notifying customers of the change — if you previously had a 20GB MobileMe, Apple will match that on top of the 5GB it already offers with iCloud. If you own multiple iOS devices and regularly backup, the free storage is most definitely welcome. The best part is that no effort is required of the users. Just sit back and receive your free storage until Sept. 30 of next year.
