AT&T Issues Android 4.0 ICS Update for Pantech Burst and Element

The wait is finally over. Pantech Burst and Element owners no longer have to deal with using a two-generation old operating system. Instead, owners of those devices can now install Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is one version older than Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The update is officially rolling out from AT&T today. What’s included?

ICS adds an improved browser with tab support, a new locks creen that allows you to quickly launch your camera, your SMS app, or the phone dialer. Folders are also now supported and you can swipe way notifications easily. Burst owners will also receive Native Sync for AT&T Address Book and new self and panorama camera modes. The enhancements for the Pantech Element tablet can be viewed in the video above.
