AT&T just announced that it will soon offer LG’s Optimus G Android smartphone, but Sprint was a bit quieter about the upcoming handset. Instead, the announcement came from LG’s own press release, which confirms that Sprint will offer the device in the future.

The Optimus G sports a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz, LTE, a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, a large 2,100mAh battery, the ability to mirror your smartphone’s media on a TV or monitor, a QuickMemo function for quickly highlighting parts of a screengrab, 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, video live zooming, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, Bluetooth 4.0 and an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p video.

There isn’t an exact release date yet, or pricing, but we bet this will land by the holidays within the $199 – $299 price range.
