Apple has announced that it will be holding a conference call to discuss the financial results of its fourth fiscal quarter on Thursday, October 25 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET.
As is always the case with Apple’s financial results, it will actually issue a press release containing the figures around 30 minutes before the call gets underway — just after the market closes. Key Apple executives, including CEO Tim Cook, then discuss the results on the call.
These results will include the first week of iPhone 5 sales, which will tell us just how big the company’s latest smartphone has been so far.
Apple’s Q3 call held back in July saw the company post weaker results that Wall Street expected, and the iPhone was one of the products that didn’t quite sell as well as anticipated. With the sixth-generation device now flying off the shelves, however, I don’t think Apple will have the same problem this time around.
