Hideo Kojima will be delivering a one-two punch of Collector Editions of his two biggest upcoming games, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Zone of the Enders HD Collection.

Most big games nowadays come with a special premium package made for the most serious fans out there, so there is little shock that any game with the words Metal Gear in the title would miss out on the opportunity.

But, thinking of that, would Hideo Kojima really pass up the chance to raise the ante on how ridiculous this added swag can be? The Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Collector’s Edition will come with a “high frequency plasma lamp” modeled after Ninja Raiden’s sword. No pricing has been announced yet, but rest assured knowing you’ll be getting a nice lamp with your video game just in case your HDTV isn’t backlit.

On the other side of the spectrum, Zone of the Enders HD does not command the reputation of all the big hits out there. However, Konami is still throwing it some additional love since this one is an HD collection only long time fans will be interested in until word of mouth spreads. The Zone of the Enders HD collection will come with the game’s soundtrack, including remixed tracks of the game’s most popular songs, and a 100 page art book.

Hideo Kojima is currently in Europe for the Eurogamer Expo, so expect a few big stories from him this week.
