Sony announced on Tuesday that its Xperia Acro S smartphone is now available in the United States for $599.99 unlocked.
The device supports UMTS HSPA 850/900/1900/2100MHz and GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz frequency bands and is equipped with a 4.3-inch HD Reality Display with a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution, NFC, a 12.1-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 16GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and a microSD card slot for adding up to 32GB of additional storage. The Xperia Acro S is also water resistant.
$599.99 is a steep price to pay, but if you want an unlocked phone with high-end specs, the Xperia Acro S could be right up your alley. We also suggest you check out the Galaxy Nexus, which runs the latest version of Android and is a bit cheaper.
