Samsung’s Jelly Bean Roadmap Reveals Which Devices Are First on Upgrade List

Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy S Advance Jelly Bean

Wondering when your Samsung handset will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean? Well, we have good news for some of you. Following the news that the Korean company has begun rolling out its Jelly Bean upgrade for the Galaxy S III this morning, Samsung has revealed its upgrade roadmap, which shows which of its devices are first on the list for the latest Android software.

Samsung is yet to provide a timeline for any of the devices on this list, but if yours is there, you can put your mind at ease safe in the knowledge that you have been chosen to receive some Jelly Bean goodness. So, without further ado, here they are:

  • GALAXY Tab 2 7.0
  • GALAXY Tab 10.1
  • GALAXY Note 10.1
  • GALAXY SII
  • GALAXY Note
  • GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus
  • GALAXY S Advance
  • GALAXY SII LTE
  • GALAXY Music
  • GALAXY Chat
  • GALAXY Ace 2
  • GALAXY Beam
  • GALAXY Ace Plus
  • GALAXY mini II
  • GALAXY S DUOS

Recent rumors had claimed that the Galaxy S II and the original Galaxy Note would be upgraded, but for users with those devices, it’s good to get official confirmation. It’s also worth remembering that just because a certain device isn’t yet on this list, it doesn’t mean it won’t ever receive Jelly Bean. It just means it isn’t a part of Samsung’s immediate upgrade plans.

Is your smartphone or tablet on that list?
