A complete list of specifications for the LG Optimus Vu II has been leaked ahead of the handset’s official launch, which is scheduled to happen this month. Like its predecessor, the Optimus Vu II boasts a 5-inch 1080 x 768 display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. It also boasts double the RAM at 2GB, and the Qualcomm processor has been bumped up to a 1.5GHz dual-core model.
The Optimus Vu II also features 4G LTE connectivity, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and 16GB of internal storage. It will be fueled by a 2,080 mAh battery, and will ship running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
The handset was first announced by LG at IFA back in August, but the Korean company didn’t actually provide us with any specifications. The only thing it did reveal is that the device would boast an infrared blaster so that it could be used to control other LG devices, such as televisions, Blu-ray players, and even air conditioning units. LG also said the device would be arriving this month.
