Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX Gets Trailer

Odds are, the first thing you wanted when you heard about the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX was a look at the bundle in motion. Square Enix has closed the curtain on their Tokyo Game Show offerings with a trailer for the remastering.

The trailer itself is in Japanese. However, the uploader added the corresponding English to the clip. All you need to do is pop the CC button on in order to read along with the characters. Donald Duck sounds hilarious in Japanese.

Personally, I’m still a little confused about what the 1.5 package has to offer. Here’s what our own Ron Duwell wrote about the bundle back when news of its existence dropped:

Bear with me for a moment here because the titles in this Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX are going to make this a little complicated. Starting off, the package will include Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, a Japan-exclusive director’s cut of the original game…

…Following that, the disc will also include its semi-sequels, Kingdom Hearts RE: Chains of Memoriesand Kingdom Hearts 358/2 DaysChains of Memories began life as a little Game Boy Advance RPG that reused many of the PS2 game’s settings and characters, but it invented a clever card battle system to set it apart from its big brother.

The pricing, release dates and international availability for Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX have not been announced. If those things come, we’ll have them.
