We published alleged leaked images of HTC’s brewing phablet earlier this weekend, and now a more official-looking photo has leaked. Internally, the device is allegedly being called the “DIx,” which hints that it could launch on Verizon Wireless as the DROID Incredible X. But that’s just one carrier, so what about the rest of the world? Well, apparently the device will be called the One X 5. At least, according to the leaked press image in the photo above.

As its name implies, the phablet will sport a 5-inch display and possibly a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. I originally thought we would have to wait a bit longer before HTC officially announced the device, but now that press images have leaked it’s seeming more and more like a Sept. 19 announcement is likely. We’ll be reporting from HTC’s NYC press event on Wednesday, so stay tuned for more information.
