British retailer Expansys has slashed the price of the international HTC One X to just £379.99 (approx. $616) for one day only. That’s around £200 (approx. $324) off the handset’s original price tag, making this one of the biggest reductions to HTC’s flagship smartphone since its debut back in April.
If you’re on the lookout for one of the best Android handsets available, then, the One X is certainly worth a look. It boasts a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, and a 4.7-inch Super LCD2 display. It’s running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with HTC Sense 4.0 laid over the top.
You’ll have to be quick if you want to take advantage of this deal, however; Expansys is offering it for today (September 17) only — until 11 p.m. BST.
Of course, there’s probably a good reason behind such a big reduction. Rumor has it that HTC is preparing to launch a slightly refreshed One X+ in the coming weeks, so it’s possible Expansys is hoping to shift some of its stock before the newer model makes its debut.
