Apple vs. Samsung - Argument - Lawsuit - Fight - 001Apple on Friday was cleared of any wrongdoing when an ITC judge said the Cupertino company didn’t violate any Samsung patents. The Korean company took Apple to task over patents relating to 3G, integrating functions and format of data packets, asking that the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch get banned from sale in the U.S. But Judge James Gildea said Apple did not violate the patents; the complaint was originally filed back in 2011. The ruling is in stark contrast to last month’s ruling, in which a jury found Samsung guilty of copying Apple.
