The iPod Nano line-up got a refresh this morning, as Apple unveiled its newest additions at its press event in San Francisco. So what can iPod fans expect? Here’s what’s on tap:

The updated iPod Nano is a tiny device, but with a wider 2.5-inch multitouch display, a very small Home button, and at 5.4mm, it’s 38 percent thinner than the previous model. It also boasts Bluetooth, an FM tuner with DVR functionality (for pausing and rewinding), a built-in fitness and pedometer, and the new Lightning connector. The Nano will be capable of 30 hours of music playback, ability to view photos and video, and has the longest battery life for a Nano yet.

It will come in seven colors, aluminum, black, purple, green, blue, yellow and red.

The iPod Nano will be coming in October, with a price of $149 for 16GB.
